The Tumbling Clinics at our gym are geared for developing an acrobatic tumbling series which include cartwheels, walkovers, round-offs, front and back handsprings. Athletes will use the tumble track, rod floor, trampoline and foam pits to enhance their skill level. Our tumbling clinics are designed to keep your athlete moving, learning and progressing their skills! Our proven system of teaching and guiding our athletes to success will help your child fall in love with tumbling as their skills increase and strengthen tumbling fundamentals, build stronger tumbling body shapes and movements and to push your athlete to the next level. If your child is ready to get started on the journey of a lifetime, then this is the program for you!
This new and exciting clinic is for those children who want to learn a cartwheel and those who would like to improve and perfect their cartwheel! If you already know how to do this fundamental skill and would like to learn more, our coaches will introduce one handed cartwheel and round-offs as well as aerials, back and front walkovers. This clinic includes progressive skills, cartwheel and back walkover specific stations, individual instructions and lots of skill repetitions!
No Pre-requisite ..
Many people spend months and years kicking up against the wall hoping for the best, but the most effective way to learn your handstand is through training specific technique and having a spotter to guide you. You can truly find your balance in this clinic. Athletes will typically begin with a warm-up and conditioning as well as flexibility drills. We’ll then dive into various entries into handstand (kick-up, tuck-up, press-up, etc.) and learn how to hold your shape with proper alignment. Throughout the class, the instructor will provide instruction and tips that is specific to your practice and your body.
Our Bar clinic is designed to improve upper body and core strength needed to master important bar skills such as a pullover, back hip circles, kips, clear hips, giants, glides and fly-aways. Through independent conditioning, as well as hands on spotting & shaping with a coach, gymnasts will have an enjoyable experience hanging, supporting and swinging their way to master some of those tricky bar skills needed for your current level or to move up to the next.
